Meet the Team
KetteGear is founded by Kristian Thomassen and Rasmus Høtoft Sørensen. We have known each other since childhood and we each have our passion within fly fishing and product development. The teamwork between the tenacious fly fisher and avid product developer is the foundation for KetteGear. Our goal is to develop high quality products for the fly fishers. BasKette is our first product.
Kristian ‘Kette’ Thomassen
The idea for BasKette comes from Kristian – also known as ‘Kette’ to fly fishers. Therefore the company name is KetteGear. Kristian has been fishing as long as he remembers but especially during the last couple of years he has spends almost all of his time fly fishing. The many hours in the water has fostered ideas for improving the fly fishing experience.
Rasmus Høtoft
Compared to Kette, Rasmus is a novice within fly-fishing. But he still enjoys fishing and admires the enthusiastic environment within fly fishers. Rasmus is a mechanical engineer and spends most of his time on product development.
